9024 Media is a social media agency that currently focuses on athletes in the football space. However, they wanted to break into other sports to have an opportunity to work with other great athletes. Due to this 9024+ was created.

The idea was for the 9024 name ‘plus’ the name of the sport, for example, 9024+ Golf. Adding the sport to the name to create it as an extension of the original agency but keeping it open to multiple sports. Therefore, the sport could become part of the 9024 Media umbrella.

Using the existing modular logo, I created a plus icon using the negative space. Once created I wanted to include some curvatures to combine both the world of 9024 and the world of the sport.

Once the logo had been finalised, bespoke word marks were created, inspired by the existing number type used in the original logo.
